Dear fellow creatives...Hone your skills and be whatever you want to be.

Whenever I’m asked if I studied photography in a university, I’m always half proud that I did not, cause my work is really incredible (okay, I said that) and half ashamed that I did not, cause part of me questions myself, “do I have to?”

Let me tell you, do as you please. You can be whatever you want to be. If you chose to be a professional, who studied for many years and has written many dissertation papers to perfect your skills, that’s amazing! And good for you.

And if you chose to be trained differently, shortened or immediate cause that’s the route you choose, it’s great too!

Dear fellow creatives, you be you.

Take a degree in arts, be an artist, take a masterclass - be an artist, watch YouTube how-to-videos - call yourself an artist. You can even say you’re a pro!

It’s your choice how to get the education and the practice to perfect your skills.

But remember to keep doing it, hone that creative power. Make it whatever you want to be.
