Only the best looking-one!

Did you know that sometimes we have to make more than 1 batch of our food subject to come up with the best-looking one?

If clients ask us to create content remotely, we are sometimes only provided with recipes we follow. We try our best to come up with the best-looking food we can get. Bake 20 or more cookies just to get three picture-perfect pieces for the picture. Fry about five eggs to come up with one.

And if all else fails, we photoshop some parts to make it look appetizing. But that’s what commercial work is, and that’s the level of attention some other project needs while some only require minimal touch-ups.

So if you think only selfies need filter and portraits only need airbrushing, hmm...I tell you not! Some require a total fix, so we’ll make a few more until we get the look and shape that we think will look good on camera.

But what is it that some require? You might think it has to be flawless, poreless, and smooth, right? Nope! It differs in every project and subject. Some need burnt edges, some require that crackle on top, some need the bubbling pop, some just runny, and some just crusty.

It’s food. So we’re making food look good but remain true to the food’s behavior or how it should actually look. Nothing too extra like smoothing it out to infinity x 100or making it look pink when it’s supposed to be a dark tan brown.

So if you need food content and professional food images, let us know! We can help you create appetizing yet real-looking images. Whether you’re a blogger, a cookbook author, or a food brand, we can help you!

Please email us at create@styletobits.com to know more about how we can start creating professional food images for you.
