Value your work.
A photographer? An artist? A creator? An entrepreneur? You worked so much on your skill and honed your craft for years. Value your work.
The cost of your goods and services should not be based on what one can only afford. The one that inquired last week or last month, who keeps bargaining with you, is not the basis of your pricing.
It should be the cost of its true value based on hundreds of things - time you put in your business, all those extra classes you took because you want to perfect your skill, those late nights you’ve had cause you have to finish and send out proposals, those sticky note pads, and all the thumb drives in your drawer, all those premium materials you source and use for your product, the loads of subscription services you pay for to get legit apps and software, and more.
I’m out of breath writing that one too. Lol!
It’s a lot. We put a lot of time and investment into our work, in our business. So let’s value our work. Let’s value it for what we deserve. Let’s value our work based on our skills. Value your work for what you want other people to see it.
Value your work at a comfortable level where you can tell yourself after each project or sales that your time and investment are all worth it.
