On this day…

If there's a time to post my unconventional-artsy-photos, it is on this day.  😄

I indulge myself once a year in taking self-portraits that speak of me and my love for photography. Today, it's a play with light and shadows—peaking lights with a glossy feel.

It is not that often I get to pose in front of a camera. I am awkward and not very confident. So having a dark background is always the way to go for me. I did not have to overthink my posture, my hand placement, or my expression. So let the image be me, dramatic with an RBF vibe. 😆A semi-lit frame that hits just the right areas, and of course, that reflection on the sunglasses. 

Okay, I just explained my self-portrait. I wish I have a more substantial caption, like what life lessons I can share with you or how one deals with life like a champ, but this is it. 😆 It's me and my fascination with photography. This is me, 34 and proud.
