BTS: easy set up!

STB Photography Pizza Salad spread project

Not enough tablespace? Without a C-stand for your camera to go even higher? Easy and quick set up? Yes, please!

When you aim to make, your subject look like a table spread. You have three options to get the whole frame. 1. Your subject needs to be placed low (on the ground most of the time), or 2. the camera could be set up on a stand high enough to fit the frame while your subjects are propped up on a regular height table. 3rd would be to use a wide-angle lens, which in some cases doesn’t work for food photos. So I stick with either 1 or 2.

Here’s a behind-the-scenes look of an easy setup when you need to capture an overhead (flat lay) shot.

Oh, these floors are always cleaned before and after shots! 😎📷
