Planning your content makes it easier for you to layout your thoughts. A PLAN will help you worry less—less scavenger hunting on your phone every time you have to post.

Here are 3 ways to help you,

1. Create a list of posts that you’d like to share, preferably 3-4weeks worth. Planning for this much gives you more time to do more important things for your business.
2. Make sure you have all the relevant images for your desired topic. If not, make a shot list too. (shot list is a list of specific details of the images/frames you need to capture).
3. Write the captions and thoughts that will go with each post too. This will help you come up with more meaningful and worthy content. If you’re not ready for the complete captions, write bullet points of topics you’d like to share.

You can use your Notes app on your phone, Microsoft Excel Sheet, or the good ol’ pen and notebook. You don’t have to subscribe to an app or be fancy about planning your content. Use what you have and what’s most convenient for you.

Make your social media content planning easy and efficient. But remember to plan according to your set strategies. Planning your content will provide you with more time to focus on other things in your business, but planning will also help you make social media WORK FOR YOUR BRAND.

Remember, your followers and audience do not just follow you for that one super hit/viral post. They’re always looking forward to more. Keep them interested by being consistent. And I can't stress this enough; planning is the key to your consistency.
